Ordering & Delivery
How does delivery work?
We offer next-day delivery across the Greater Toronto Area. Orders placed before midnight are delivered the following day. We also ship Canada-wide via overnight courier. All orders are packed with ice to ensure your caviar arrives at the perfect temperature.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver next-day to the GTA, including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Newmarket, and surrounding areas. For the rest of Canada, we ship via overnight courier.
What is your cutoff time for next-day delivery?
Orders must be placed before midnight to receive next-day delivery within the GTA.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free shipping on all orders over $200. Orders under $200 are subject to a flat shipping fee, which is calculated at checkout.

What type of caviar do you sell?
We specialize in Imperial Sturgeon caviar — one of the most prized varieties in the world. Our caviar is sourced from reputable aquaculture farms that prioritize sustainable and ethical practices.
Where does your caviar come from?
Our caviar is sourced from carefully selected aquaculture producers. We work directly with suppliers we know and trust, built on over two decades of experience in the fine caviar industry.
How fresh is the caviar when it arrives?
Freshness is our top priority. Every tin is packed and shipped to arrive at its peak. Our next-day delivery model exists specifically to minimize the time between packing and your table.
How should I store caviar once it arrives?
Keep your caviar refrigerated at 0–4°C (32–39°F). Store the tin on ice if possible, and consume within 2–3 days of opening. Unopened tins can be stored for the duration indicated on the packaging.
Orders & Returns
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Because of the perishable nature of our product and our same-day fulfilment process, we are unable to cancel or modify orders once they have been placed. Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If there is an issue with your order — damage during shipping, incorrect items, or a quality concern — please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will make it right. Reach us at hello@goldcaviar.ca with your order number and a photo if applicable.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the perishable nature of caviar, we do not accept returns. However, if you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please get in touch and we will do everything we can to resolve the issue.
General
How do I serve caviar?
Caviar is best served simply — chilled, on a non-metallic spoon (mother of pearl is traditional), with minimal accompaniments. Blinis, crème fraîche, and lightly toasted brioche are classic pairings. The goal is to let the caviar speak for itself. We recommend removing the tin from the refrigerator 10–15 minutes before serving.
